Liquid Biopsy opened a new door for researchers. It is not only a non-invasive diagnostic test, but also monitors the course of the disease and guides treatment. Compared with traditional tissue biopsy, liquid biopsy has many advantages such as rapid, convenient, and small damage. There are many methods for detecting liquid biopsy, including ARMS, NGS, and digital PCR. Digital PCR is a highly sensitive new technology developed in recent years. It can achieve highly sensitive nucleic acid absolute quantification and is not easily interfered by PCR inhibitors. Digital PCR technology detects rare trace nucleic acid samples, rare mutations in complex background, and small expression. Differences in identification have shown great advantages and are much simpler and more economical than NGS processes.
